Born and raised in Camrose, Doug Thompson spent his childhood on the family farm before moving into the City of Camrose as an adult.  Within a short time Doug found his passion when he joined Century 21 and began his real estate career.  Doug collected countless Century 21 awards for salesmanship, including being inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991, and ultimately achieving #1 in Unit Production throughout all of Canada in 1995.  Doug established further roots in Camrose when he purchased the Century 21 office in 1996. Doug has a strong belief in giving back to the community. His leadership in the annual Easter Seals golf tournament, Easter Seals bright lights campaign, personal involvement and sponsorship of 4H activities, are some of the highlights of his community involvement.  Doug achieved national recognition when he was awarded the Queens Jubilee Medal and local recognition with the Camrose Chamber of Commerce “Special Award” in 1997.  Doug’s dedication to the community of Camrose, is the tie that binds him, to be excited  about developing real estate in his home town.
